This series tells Mario’s story as he tries to cope with life back on earth after his life-changing mission to the moon. It explores how “The Comedown” affects Mario. How he deals with the profound sense of disconnection and fragility he experiences after traveling into space and then being officially “retired” as an astronaut…while still only in his 20s.

How does it feel to be one of the most famous Black people on the planet? Where do you go after you’ve been to the moon? Is everything in life now destined to be an anti-climax? These are just some of the hard questions Mario will be trying to answer…
